Aether Mobility VIP is seeking a visionary Autonomous Driving Engineer to pioneer the next generation of advanced navigation and autonomous flight controls for our elite eVTOL (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) fleet. In this role, you will design, develop, and validate the software architectures that ensure our VIP passengers experience the safest, smoothest, and most efficient point-to-point aerial journeys above urban corridors.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, implement, and test localization, mapping, and motion planning algorithms specifically optimized for urban air mobility (UAM) and eVTOL architectures.
– Develop robust sensor fusion frameworks integrating LiDAR, Radar, cameras, and advanced avionics systems.
– Collaborate closely with aerospace and vehicle systems integration teams to transition autonomous software from simulation to real-world flight testing.
– Ensure all autonomous control frameworks comply with the highest international aerospace safety regulations (FAA/EASA).
– Optimize real-time software performance on high-performance embedded systems.
